*Players should have at least 1 year of volleyball experience. It can be rec, camps, etc!

Columbia Volleyball Academy has established a development program tailored to younger players looking to enhance their skills in order to eventually play club volleyball once they reach an appropriate age. The program is tailored for players ages 9-13 but we may accept slightly older players if they have limited experience.  If your child is slightly older please contact us in advance to see if this program will be suitable.

We like for our players in this program to have basic skills (passing, setting & serving) and at least 1 year of recreation volleyball experience. Camp and clinic experience are also acceptable. 

The Red Hornets development program is coached by CVA coaches and Senior players and is a fun learning environment where young athletes can learn more about this great sport, make friends and work on volleyball skills.

This is not a club travel team; but we will have some tournament play towards the end of the season.  There will be plenty of scrimmaging, games and fun contests once the girls get more comfortable.

The Red Hornets Program will meet once a week (Mondays) starting in the middle of November and going until the middle of May.

The cost of the program is $550. There is also an additional credit card fee.  If refunds are requested, please see our policy below. 

RED HORNETS REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy – If you register your child(ren) for our Red Hornets volleyball program and then opt for them not to participate, refunds will be granted as follows:

Refunds will not include the credit card fee. 

Any refund request received 4 weeks or longer before the start of the program will be processed with a 10% administrative fee withheld.

Any refund request within 2 weeks of the start of the program will be processed with a 50% administrative fee withheld.

A refund may also be granted if you have accepted an offer on one of Columbia Volleyball Club's travel teams. 

Refunds are NOT given once the program has begun unless there is a medically verifiable reason that your child cannot participate and the administrative fee will be deducted.  

Cash and checks are not accepted.
