Thank you to everyone who attended tryouts! All of our teams are now full.

Columbia Volleyball Academy will be holding information sessions . All sessions will be held virtually (link to be posted in September) It is a great opportunity to learn all about Club Volleyball and to learn more about our plans for the season. This session is  for both new families as well as those who have been with us before, as we always have new announcements and information.  No need to RSVP or register,  just attend and bring your questions.

THE 4 STEPS FOR CVA TRYOUT REGISTRATION

Please follow these 4 steps in order to attend tryouts with The Columbia Volleyball Academy and be considered for one of our teams.

1. Determine your daughter’s correct age classification based on her birth date using the CHRVA Age Classification Chart

2. Register your child with the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association (CHRVA). 

All players must be registered with USA Volleyball through the CHRVA region to be eligible to participate in tryouts. This is a Chesapeake Region requirement.

It is extremely important that you use the same email address (PARENT email) for both your Sports Engine account and your CHRVA/USA membership account! Please do not have the player register themselves using their own email.

To participate in tryouts, you are able to choose either the Junior Membership (Regular Junior Girls) or the Limited Membership-Junior Tryout 10 days ( limited membership valid ONLY during the tryout season must upgrade to full membership if affiliating with a team):

Junior Memberships (Regular Junior Girls)
The membership cost is $55. Please complete the registration steps. You will know when you are done when a CHRVA card or membership confirmation number is generated.

Remember to print out a copy of your USA Volleyball Membership Card and bring to tryouts.  To do this:

• Login to the SportsEngine site
• Click on "Household" and then click on the player's card
• Print a copy of the card.

3. Complete the Columbia Volleyball Academy tryout registration form (Click Here)  and paying the Non-refundable registration fee.  This is not the same fee as your CHRVA membership. This fee pays for our tryout costs such as court time, etc.  Your registration is not considered complete unless you fill out the form and pay the tryout registration fee. The Registration Fee is $55.00 (plus processing fee) if you register before October the 20th.  After October the 20th the fee will increase to $60.00 (plus processing fee).

4. Complete a USAV Medical Release form and bring it with you. 

Note:  You must attend our tryout session to be considered for a CVA team.
