The Lightning 16’s did their moms proud on Mother’s Day by taking 1st place at the NVVA 16’s tournament on May 10, 2009 in Leesburg, VA.

Lightning Takes 1st Runner Up In 16 Open Regional Championships

The Lightning played strong and came into the finals of the 16 Open Championships undefeated, but came up just short of a victory. Still, the girls continue to makes us proud and represent the club well. This finish marks the close of an intense month of tournament play that has included two Qualifiers with Gold bracket finishes prior to the CHRVA tournament.
