Fees

2007/2008 Fees

Club fees provide the necessary funds for each team to compete through the end of the season at the Penn State Tournament in May. The CVC is non-profit and all fees go towards expenses.  Fundraising is not mandatory at the Columbia Volleyball Club. However, the club sponsors several optional fundraisers designed to help individual families defray their club payments. 

The following are just some of the things covered by the club fees: about 9 tournament entry fees, practice court costs (over 80 hours), Coach's fees, equipment, banquet costs, 1 overnight-trip fees (for the 14's and older), and Penn State (3 nights).

Club fees do not cover the cost of uniform purchases. Any unused team funds collected are refunded equally to the eligible team members after the completion of the season.

* National Travel Teams (Comets, Eclipse, Lightning, Storm, & Condors) pay $300 at their 1st practice as a non-refundable deposit for their designated national travel trip. Additional funding (estimated to be about $600) to support this trip will likely be required later in the season once the full cost is known.

** The Canaries fee now includes going to Penn State at the end of the year.
