Storm Captures 1st at FAVOR Invitational There was a huge storm in Frederick, Maryland on January 15th, 2005 - the Columbia Storm! The Storm captured first place in the FAVOR 15/16 Invitational to open their season in winning fashion. Way to go Ladies - Great way to start the season!

Storm Captures Silver at Columbia 15's Season Opener The Columbia Storm took the Silver at the Columbia 15's Opener tournament on Sunday, January 23rd. The tournament schedule was adjusted as four teams dropped out due to the weather conditions.
The Storm had a tremendous start beating MAVBC in two out of the three games. They then lost in three very close games to the NVVA Select. The Storm finished strong in a three game win against the NOVA Eclipse. The Storm played consistently well throughout the day with strong serves, hits and kills.

Thanks to Kathy Hawkins for volunteering to serve as Storm Parent Rep! The Storm regularly scheduled practice days are Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and Sundays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
