Condors Take Silver Medal at
Columbia 14's Opener

Way to go Ladies! Great way to start the
season
Condors Travel to New Orleans
The Condors played in the Mizuno Easter Classic in
New Orleans, Louisiana on March 25-27th. The tournament
featured teams from around nation, and also included several teams from
Canada.
Coming into the tournament, the Condors were ranked
14th out of 40 teams in their age bracket. The first day of
tournament play, the Condors played very well, sweeping their first two
matches against the Westend Jacky from Austin Texas, and the Woodlands
from Spring, Texas. The final match, against the number one ranked team
within their pool, the Condors played hard, but ultimately lost to one
of the very good hometown teams, the Cajunland Tommy.
Day two of the tournament featured phenomenal play
by the Condors, who swept all three matches to end the day in the
Championship pool. Opponents hailed from Louisiana, Texas and Florida.
The third and final day of the tournament, the
Condors faced the VIA from Madisonville, Louisiana. A slow start to the
match forced the Condors into a deficit, which they valiantly attempted
to defeat, only to come out on the losing end.
The Condors ended the tournament in 13th
place – a great time, and a great showing for the team!

All business on the court....
